Job Title: Travel Nurse Pediatric Med Surg

Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse for a pediatric med surg position in a medical surgical unit.

Job Requirements:
  • Specialty: Pediatric Med Surg
  • Discipline: RN
  • Shift: 12 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

Unit Details:

20-bed medical surgical unit for adults and pediatrics. Excellent staffing ratios: typically 4:1, max 5:1. Non-COVID patients. Required certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS. PALS is preferred.

Experience:

Three years of med-surg experience, one year pediatric experience preferred. Must be comfortable with both adult and pediatric patients.

Additional Information:

Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or could be task-oriented such as answering call lights, phones, etc.
