Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Core-Mark, a leading distributor of fresh and broad-line solutions to the convenience retail industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Immediately report all safety hazards and ensure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and perform damage control checks on items.
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures, collect money (cash or checks) where required, and ensure that all equipment and materials are removed from trailers as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A and be at least 21 years of age.
  • Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
