Key Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.">
  3. Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to deliver holistic patient care.">
  4. Staying current with Callen-Lorde's Clinical Guidelines and current treatment protocols.">
  5. Work closely with the Director of Psychiatry to ensure timely and appropriate access to mental health services.">
  6. Prioritize reducing inpatient hospitalizations by implementing strategies aimed at addressing acute and chronic mental health issues.">

Required Qualifications

">
  • ">
  • New York State Certification/Licensure and current New York State Registration (MD, DO, or NP).">
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry preferred.">
  • Experience working in a NYS Article 28/31 clinic required.">
  • DEA Controlled Substances Registration Certificate required.">
  • Demonstrated ability to work with substance use concerns of dually diagnosed patients.">
  • Commitment to providing culturally competent psychiatric care to LGBT persons and persons living with HIV.">

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range of $160,105.40 - $250,113.36 per year, based on experience.
