We are seeking skilled Utility Locators to join our team at Stake Center Locating. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for locating underground utilities, troubleshooting issues, and marking the ground using paint and flags.

Job Overview

This role involves working independently, with minimal supervision, to locate underground utilities. You will need to have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in all weather conditions.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $19.25 per hour, based on industry standards and market rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Locate underground utilities using specialized equipment and technology
  • Document and process tickets and emails efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners
  • Walk up to 5 miles a day, 2-3 times a week, as required by the job
  • Lift objects up to 25 lbs or use tool aids for heavier lifting
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
