Job Summary

The Warehouse Order Fulfillment Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the operation to efficiently pull and sequence orders received to meet shipping deadlines at GFA, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receives incoming orders and selects the correct part from the warehouse and loads into dollies for staging the sequence order.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records of materials received and shipped, including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
  • Resolves issues with Supervisors and Leadership when problems arise.
  • Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
  • Efficiency, accuracy, and speed.
  • Outstanding attendance and punctuality.
  • Multi-tasking.
  • Time management skills.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen and background check.
  • Steel Toe shoes required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 20-25 pounds at a time.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, bend, and stand throughout the shift.
  • Must wear safety gear, such as gloves when handling box cutters or similar tools.

Education and Experience:

  • At least two years of related experience in warehousing or manufacturing required.
