Job Description

This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of configuration management principles and practices. As a Senior Configuration Management Specialist, you will be responsible for performing technical administrative activities necessary to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labeling. You will also assist in the execution of technical evaluations to assess proposed actions to contract requirements.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing, planning, and coordinating preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
  • Reviewing contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Analyzing proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
