We are seeking a proficient Cold Heading Machine Operator to become part of our workforce. In this role, you will be tasked with operating and maintaining cold heading machinery to produce high-precision metal components efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in cold forming techniques and a solid understanding of fabrication machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Preparation:
    - Set up and configure cold heading machines based on work orders and specifications.
    - Modify machine settings and tooling to ensure optimal performance.
  • Production Management:
    - Operate cold heading machines to manufacture metal components.
    - Oversee production processes and resolve any arising issues.
  • Quality Assurance:
    - Evaluate finished products for defects and compliance with specifications.
    - Utilize measuring instruments such as micrometers.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    - Conduct maintenance activities and maintain an organized machine workspace.
  • Safety and Regulations:
    - Follow safety protocols and industry regulations.
  • Record Keeping:
    - Maintain precise production documentation and logs pertinent to cold heading operations.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    - Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
    - Attention to detail and precision.
    - Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Qualifications:
    - High school diploma or equivalent.
    - At least 5 years of experience in cold heading operations.
    - Ability to interpret blueprints and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    - Familiarity with cold forming machinery such as Nakashimada or National Machinery.
    - Background in Tool and Die.
    - CNC experience.
