About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant or Clinic Professional to join our team at Pewaukee Campus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct care to patients under the supervision of our Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or Physicians.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients, including vital sign collection, health history verification, and documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Prepare exam rooms by setting up equipment and supplies, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Assist with procedures, administer medications and vaccinations, and perform therapeutic treatments and health screenings.
- Respond to urgent situations and call for clinical assistance as needed.
- Float to other departments or clinic locations as assigned by Pewaukee Campus Leadership.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or other equivalent clinical training program
- 1 Year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience in pediatrics or family medicine preferred
