  • Nursing Professional Practice: Conduct assessments, identify appropriate nursing diagnoses, and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Continuously update and coordinate the patient's care plan to achieve goals and optimize outcomes across the care continuum. Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions as necessary. Maintain essential competencies as required by specific areas of hire and populations served.
  • Advocacy: Advocate effectively for ethical and holistic care by collaborating in care planning to uphold the autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of those we serve.
  • Learning Facilitation: Create a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members, including students; facilitate both formal and informal learning opportunities.
  • Safety and Quality Alignment: Take accountability for safety, identify and rectify issues, and integrate evidence-based practices into nursing care; utilize data to enhance patient outcomes. Ensure that patient safety, personal safety, and environmental safety are prioritized equally.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional growth; practice within the legal boundaries of the Nurse Practice Act, the Nursing Social Policy Statement, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, and specialty standards. Foster a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates, and disseminates research and evidence-based practices.
  • Leadership: Lead and coordinate teams, delegate appropriately, and collaborate with other professionals as equal members of the inter-professional care team to integrate nursing knowledge. Model professional behaviors as a representative of the nursing profession.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Float Pool Nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
