Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine examinations and diagnose illnesses
  • Recommend treatment plans and prescribe medications as needed
  • Perform surgeries, including dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic procedures
  • Administer vaccinations and perform spay and neuter surgeries
  • Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being
  • Update client records and maintain accurate medical histories
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Previous work experience as a veterinarian
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Availability to take evening, weekend, or on-call shifts when necessary
