Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Cardinal Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities that are most in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain professional working relationships with pharmacy personnel, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
  • Understand the varied requirements of working in a pharmacy and adapt to changing demands.
  • Be available to customers and patients at all times.
  • Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Organize medications for pharmacists to dispense by profiling prescriptions, preparing labels, and calculating quantities.
  • Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Work with the pharmacy team to ensure best practices are followed with regards to 340B.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Registration in the state where the position is located (if applicable).
  • 2+ years of retail pharmacy technician-related experience, preferred.
  • 340B experience preferred, but not required.
  • Fluent in Spanish required.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
What We Offer
  • Anticipated hourly range: $21.50 per hour - $28.40 per hour.
  • Bonus eligible: No.
  • Benefits: Paid time off in compliance with applicable laws.
