The Role
This Logistics Delivery Professional will be responsible for handling regular deliveries to commercial customers from our Commercial Fulfillment Center. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Commercial Fulfillment team and Commercial Operations Manager to execute timely deliveries and provide exceptional service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Commercial Fulfillment team to handle all aspects of product delivery to business customers.
- Deliver the Ace brand promise of helpful and amazing service at all times through professional conduct and proactive problem-solving.
- Handle or assist with picking up or receiving, pulling, packing, and loading products for delivery.
- Engage customers at their place of business and identify opportunities to pass on customer needs or selling opportunities to assigned Account Managers or Business Development Managers.
- Occasionally assist retail operations with delivery of retail products, ensuring it doesn't impact commercial deliveries and sales.
- Recommend product stocking or special order needs to the Commercial Fulfillment Specialist and assigned BDM.
- Operate safely and efficiently while driving company vehicles, observing and obeying all traffic laws.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Refined interpersonal skills, solid negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Able to foster teamwork and collaboration, motivating both internal and external teams to perform enthusiastically.
- Excellent PC skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Operating Systems.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly, including overtime as needed.
- Safe operation of vans, trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
- Standing, walking, lifting (50lbs or more), and climbing.
$16.00 per hour
