- Job Responsibilities
- Support on-unit procedures, including placement of arterial lines, central lines, external ventricular drains, and ICP monitors.
- Manage patients with life-threatening conditions related to major elective and emergency surgical procedures, multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, stroke, seizure, sepsis/multi-organ system failure, hemodynamic instability, and failure to wean.
- Requirements
- Epic experience is required.
- Two years of ICU staff experience are required.
- Competency with EVDs, bolts, and ICP management is required.
- Experience with trauma and complex surgical patients is required.
- Schedule Information
- A competency test is required within 48 hours of submission.
