Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - Local Contract

Job Summary:

Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team on a local contract basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical and patient support in a fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during invasive and non-invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Operate all equipment safely and correctly, maintaining a clean and organized procedure room.
  • Assess procedure room equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for individual cases.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient outcomes and laboratory efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Formal 2-year radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school, meeting requirements for registry by the ARRT.
  • Basic EKG Course completion.
  • Preferred: BS in Radiology or equivalent, 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath and Radiology care.
  • Required certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computed tomography, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, ARRT, State license if required, American Heart Association BLS, ACLS.
