Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the installation, repair, and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.
  • Manage electrical and hydraulic systems, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Plan and oversee repair and installation activities, allocating workload and supervising upkeep staff.
  • Monitor equipment inventory, place orders as needed, and control maintenance budgets.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, promoting a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business administration or facility management preferred.
  • 5+ years of maintenance management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and other crafts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) certification a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV).
  • Must pass a comprehensive background screening.
  • Must comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Must have a valid state-issued driver's license.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater).
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions.
  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise).
