We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cosmetics Cashier to join our team at Walmart Supercenter #5430. As a key member of our retail staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and answering questions related to our cosmetics products.
This is a part-time position that requires a flexible schedule, including mid-shift and closing shifts. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system. As a Cosmetics Cashier, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and answering questions related to our cosmetics products
- Operating a point-of-sale system and handling cash transactions
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment
- Restocking shelves and facing merchandise
In addition to your customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, you will need to have basic math skills and be able to accurately handle cash transactions. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Walmart offers a competitive hourly rate of $14 - $21 per hour, depending on experience and location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives, as well as premiums for working specific shifts or in certain circumstances.

The estimated salary for this position is $18.35 per hour, based on a 40-hour workweek and assuming a $15.00 hourly wage for the first 6 months of employment, with a 10% raise after 6 months. This estimate is based on the location of Walmart Supercenter #5430 in Albuquerque, NM.
