Responsibilities
  • Own and optimize major production equipment areas within batching, blending, and packaging manufacturing environments.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure process accuracy, minimize losses, increase efficiency, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee quality, accuracy, and elimination of issues impacting line efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain tracking against all line downtime or product availability, including cross-functional reconciliation with customers.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiencies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality problems and identify systems issues.
  • Develop strategies to improve batching, blending, utilities, equipment operation, upgrades, and line efficiencies.
  • Deliver projects from ideation through commissioning, driving process and line efficiencies, and format flexibilities.
  • Provide technical process control capabilities and expertise to cross-functional teams.
  • Manage projects from initiation to closer, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Maintain documentation of processes and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Establish standards and manage process control using lean management methodology.
  • Develop, execute, and support safety, energy, and environmental initiatives.
  • Support team performance and foster a culture of employee engagement.
  • Provide leadership for optimal functioning and reliability of equipment and processes.
  • Collaborate with equipment vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Rapidly implement changeover activities, reducing changeover time to achieve challenging objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Sophisticated troubleshooting skills with high-speed manufacturing equipment such as AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and PLC I/O modules, HMIs.
  • Knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma, or another management system.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Demonstrates adaptability by reacting appropriately to unexpected changes in situations or circumstances.
  • Safety, continuous improvement, and solutions-driven mindset.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
