Actalent is seeking a skilled Tissue Processing Lab Technician to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for processing, debridement, packaging, and labeling of human tissue products intended for surgical transplantation.
Key Responsibilities- Processing and Debridement: Perform various tasks including debridement (cleaning tissue samples), processing, packaging, and labeling of human tissue products.
- Instrumentation and Equipment: Utilize special techniques, instrumentation, and equipment to clean and size tissue to specifications and protocols.
- Inventory Management: Assist Team Lead with efforts in maintaining inventory levels on the core and dock for receiving supplies.
- Lab Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform lab cleaning activities as required by policies, protocols, procedures, and SOPs.
- Documentation and Records: Correctly complete production documentation as required in nerve processing in accordance with standard operating procedures and quality standards.
- Team Support: Assist with production records as needed and comply with all company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Must have experience handling specimens of some kind or experience in a laboratory setting.
