Welding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a manufacturing plant environment and be part of a company that celebrates its 70th year as the largest truck body builder in North America.

This Welder position involves operating a variety of welding equipment, working with aluminum, steel, and galvanneal materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality welds, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with colleagues to meet production targets.

• Wiring trucks from front to rear lights, camera sensors, and custom requests
• Welding metals according to customer or employer requirements
• Installing lift gates, walk ramps, and platforms
• Maintaining a safe working environment by wearing protective gear
• Operating heavy equipment like industrial saws

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Have 3 years of welding experience or more
• Be proficient in three or more welding materials: mild steel, galvanneal, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel
• Pass a weld test
• Demonstrate basic math skills, tape measurement, and computer skills
