Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Educator and Infection Control expert to lead our wound care program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing education programs for staff, evaluating competency, and managing facility wound care programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and teach continuing education and in-service education for the hospital
  • Develop monthly education calendars and conduct corporate compliance agreement training and other needed staff education
  • Collaborate with managers to evaluate staff competency and manage facility wound care programs
  • Function as an expert wound clinician, coordinator, educator, consultant, and researcher

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
  • Licensed in the state of practice
  • Inpatient Psychiatric Nursing experience
  • BLS Certification required
  • ICP or related certification preferred
  • Experience in Infection Control with basic knowledge of epidemiology and infections
