Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem. As an ER Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including trauma, cardiac arrest, and respiratory distress.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in good standing.
- Minimum one year of recent hospital experience in the ER.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred.
