Job Overview

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to support a fast-paced program with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. This role involves ensuring the delivery of comprehensive IT and support services to ensure mission success while adhering to DoD standards and regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the design, development, and deployment of systems, hardware, and components meet stringent quality standards as well as support the internal quality process. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Program Manager to develop strategies, goals, tasks, roles, responsibilities, and information needs for QA surveillance.
  • Serving as the program's QA lead for planning, work product reviews, and quality audits.
  • Implementing and maintaining the Quality Assurance Program Plan (QAPP).

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A US Citizen with at least a Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a SCI prior to start date.
  • A Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA, RMF, DISA STIGs) and security protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of DoD security frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and DISA STIG guidelines is preferred. Familiarity with software quality metrics and performance evaluations specific to DoD service contracts is also beneficial.
