Five Star Bank is seeking a highly skilled Wire Transfer Specialist to join our Deposit Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing wires, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Process wire transfer requests from customers and internal departments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Federal regulations and established policies.
- Monitor and verify wire transfer transactions, including domestic and international wires, to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Maintain and balance wire logs for audit purposes and Treasury Department requirements.
- Prepare and submit end-of-day entries to general ledger accounts for foreign wire transactions.
- Retain and safeguard wire forms and current lists of authorized bank signers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.
- 1+ year of banking experience, with a focus on wire room or deposit operations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Windows-based PCs and Microsoft Outlook, with the ability to learn new banking software.
- Competitive hourly rate: $17.00 - $23.00
