We are seeking a skilled Pediatric RN to join our team as a travel nurse in Dallas, TX. This is an immediate opening, and we require the right candidate to have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide age-appropriate care to patients in all settings.
- Assist patients in feeling comfortable during examinations and procedures.
- Perform physical, medical, and diagnostic tests as needed.
- Assess patients for critical signs and symptoms in pediatric and adolescent populations.
- Support treating physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Provide information, education, and support to patients' family members.
- BLS and PALS certifications.
- 2 years of recent acute care experience.
Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. As a Pediatric Travel Nurse, you will be expected to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary. You may also be exposed to chemicals and infectious diseases.
