Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is crucial for the efficient, timely, and precise management of all printed materials intended for prospective students. The position also involves assisting in the arrangement of campus visits and providing backup support for communication inquiries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the distribution of admissions materials, including acceptance notifications and scholarship offers.
  • Conduct basic administrative tasks to support the admissions department.
  • Facilitate the scheduling of campus tours for prospective students.
  • Assist with university events as required.
  • Act as a substitute tour guide when student ambassadors are unavailable.
  • Provide additional support to admissions counselors during their absence.
  • Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient data entry skills to ensure timely and accurate processing of information.
  • Strong communication abilities to effectively handle inquiries.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to serving a diverse community with a strong customer service focus.
  • A bachelor's degree and current enrollment in a graduate program at the University of Saint Mary.
