Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Case Selector plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient selection of products within our distribution center. This position also involves preparing shipments for our clients.

KeHE Distributors is currently seeking Warehouse Case Selectors to enhance our operations.

Work Schedule:
Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday

Compensation Details:
$20.00 hourly

Weekend work earns an additional $1.50 per hour

Freezer work earns an additional $3.00 per hour

Evening shifts (after 6:00 PM) receive an extra $1.00 per hour

Performance-based incentive pay of up to $2.00 additional per hour

Potential earnings of up to $26.00 per hour (including pay, incentives, and differentials)

Participation in the annual profit-sharing bonus plan after 90 days.

Essential Duties:
Retrieve selecting documents prior to the order selection process.

Select and categorize warehouse products according to account and stop number as indicated by the computer-generated label.

Ensure product descriptions match the labels.

Construct pallets within the warehouse following customer specifications.

Meet production standards while minimizing errors.

Utilize a stand-up electric pallet jack to transport completed orders to the designated staging area.

Return completed selecting documents to the appropriate collection site as per Shipping Department specifications.

Perform other warehouse duties and special projects as assigned.

Maintain excellent attendance.

Adhere to safe work practices in the warehouse.

Safeguard confidential company information.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience and Skills:
A minimum of one year of experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.

Experience operating powered warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers) is preferred.

Strong communication skills with internal customers and management.

Ability to follow safe working practices as instructed.

Capability to work independently without direct supervision.

A High School Diploma or GED is required.

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

While performing the duties of this position, the associate may be exposed to varying temperatures and outside weather conditions. Noise levels in the warehouse are typically low to moderate.
