Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers to develop test methods, processes, and procedures for complex test equipment and systems.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise in the development of calibration methods, processes, and capabilities for complex test equipment and systems.
- Review and analyze technical documents, guides, and manuals for accuracy and adherence to processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and identify and analyze measurement uncertainties for test systems.
- Become the project lead for various assignments and provide technical guidance and oversight to team members.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience mentoring other engineers and providing technical guidance and oversight.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical test equipment and systems, measurement techniques, and Metrology principles and standards.
- Basic RF knowledge and ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) and a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical test measurement equipment and systems.
- Knowledge of RF test equipment and measurement techniques.
- Expert knowledge of uncertainty budgets and experience with Test Automation such as MET/CAL and/or Labwindows/CVI.
- C/C++ programming and GPIB/LAN communication.
- Metrology concepts and practices.
