About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Veterinarian to join our team at the National Primate Research Center. As a senior member of our veterinary staff, you will provide advanced clinical and surgical support for nonhuman primates used in research.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced clinical and surgical support for nonhuman primates used in research
  • Collaborate with investigators to develop and implement novel research procedures and techniques
  • Maintain compliance with federal regulations and accreditation standards
  • Support the development and execution of research studies
  • Provide technical direction to veterinary and research support staff

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of applicable work experience
  • Licenses to practice veterinary medicine in at least one state
  • Ability to obtain a license to practice in Washington State

Estimated Salary Range: $150,000 - $220,000 per year
