The Business Architect is responsible for ensuring functional alignment between strategic objectives and critical business decisions concerning products and services, partnerships, organizational structure, capabilities, and significant business and IT initiatives. This role primarily focuses on analyzing business motivations and operations by utilizing business analysis frameworks and networks that connect these elements within the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate process standardization and establish business metrics within the designated process area.
- Oversee project planning, work breakdown structures, and time management.
- Benchmark best practices across end-to-end processes.
- Ensure timely approval of detailed designs.
- Address and resolve all process integration issues and escalations.
- Identify and mitigate risks with an approved plan.
- Evaluate customizations thoroughly.
- Document integrated processes and value stream maps, including Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
- Develop training materials and document transaction processes.
- Initiate and collaborate on integration testing strategies, plans, and scripts.
- Achieve on-time approval of integrated solutions from Business Unit Executive Management and Business Process Owner Executive Management.
- Support the adoption of changes among users.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven leadership capabilities and decision-making across the organization.
- Extensive functional expertise.
- Comprehensive cross-functional knowledge.
- Strong experience in project and matrix management.
- Expertise in business process mapping and redesign.
- Commitment to responsibilities at both strategic and tactical levels for programs and projects.
Ideal Candidate: This position is suited for an individual with substantial experience in Business Process, Manufacturing Quality Management, and/or IT Functional Analysis within SAP, particularly in the Quality Management module. A self-motivated individual who requires minimal supervision, possesses a strong drive, and excels in a collaborative team environment, both upward and downward within the organization, is essential. Some travel may be necessary, both domestically and internationally.
