We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Network Administrator to join our team and provide critical support to our network operations. As a key member of our IT department, you will assist in the maintenance and optimization of our network infrastructure, ensuring reliable and efficient network performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software, as well as experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. They will also be proficient in configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain network performance by participating in network performance analysis and capacity planning.
  2. Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
  3. Work directly with 3rd party service providers to provide overall management of the quality of services being provided.
  4. Configure, install and maintain Cisco switches, APs and Barracuda Firewalls.
  5. Assist with ISP aggregation ongoing projects.
  6. Assist with integration of new branches being onboarded.
  7. Work autonomously on network infrastructure roll out.
  8. Serve as an on-call function for any infrastructure/Network outages and issues.
  9. Configure network gear autonomously.
  10. Document in Visio and Excel all network IP schemes and topologies by branch.
  11. Asset life cycle management - Proactively check for EOL on existing infrastructure, plan, and replace.
  12. Proactively watch for network outages and work them immediately as they come in.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Network Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years network administration experience required.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or similar are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including paid vacation and holidays, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and more.
