Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the work of line employees, ensuring the efficient and effective production of our products. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve operational issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot equipment and resolve operational issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production employees to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Monitor and control production costs, ensuring adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with PC and business information systems/software.
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, with frequent exposure to wet and humid conditions and fluctuations in ambient temperature. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods is also required.
