Unit Description:

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York.

This 424-bed, Level I Trauma & Stroke Center has been recognized as one of the leading hospitals in the area, proudly serving a diverse community with exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in inpatient units
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process and efficiently organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective nutrition plans to meet the needs of patients with various health conditions
Requirements:
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • In some states and/or facilities, RD/RDN credentials are required at the time of hire
