Job Title: Server

At Los Dos Potrillos, we are seeking a skilled and professional Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the dining room, bar, and kitchen for efficient operation during meal periods.
  • Clean and organize assigned stations in the dining room and bar prior to mealtime.
  • Greets and welcomes guests in a professional manner.
  • Presents menus and provides detailed information about menu items and promotions.
  • Uses suggestive selling techniques to offer food specials and promotions.
  • Checks dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness.
  • Serves customers in a professional manner and maintains a clean and organized service area.
  • Receives customer payments and completes guest check transactions.
  • Turns in all cash and change transactions at the end of each shift.
  • Follows all relevant health department regulations and communicates health and safety concerns to management.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
Work Environment:
  • The work environment is usually loud.
Physical Demands:
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include ability to adjust focus.
