**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Dynamometer Technician - Performance Optimization to join our team at MARTIN Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating dynamometers to conduct performance tests on vehicles.

About the Role:

  • The Dynamometer Technician - Performance Optimization will work closely with automotive engineers and technicians to optimize vehicle performance based on dyno test results.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience in dynamometer setup, operation, and data analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and configure dynamometer equipment to accurately simulate real-world driving conditions for vehicle testing.
  • Operate dynamometers to conduct performance tests on vehicles, including measuring horsepower, torque, emissions, and other relevant parameters.
  • Collect and analyze data using specialized software and tools.
  • Collaborate with automotive engineers and technicians to optimize vehicle performance based on dyno test results.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or technical diploma in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Dynamometer Technician, demonstrating proficiency in dynamometer setup, operation, and data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of automotive systems, engine mechanics, and performance tuning principles.
  • Proficiency in using dynamometer software, data acquisition systems, and relevant diagnostic tools.
