Key Responsibilities:

  • Check in and assign rooms to hotel guests, addressing inquiries related to hotel amenities, guest registration, and local attractions.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts, including making, confirming, and canceling reservations.
  • Process billing, collect payments, and provide change to guests, ensuring all charges are accurately recorded.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, messages, and faxes, using appropriate communication tools.
  • Ensure all services rendered are accurately reflected in guest statements and assist with check-out procedures.
  • Verify guest credit and determine payment methods in accordance with established protocols, ensuring proper cash handling and deposits.
  • Respond to guest inquiries about hotel services and local recommendations, documenting feedback and escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Exhibit effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Utilize a moderately complex computer system to input and retrieve information accurately.
  • Arrive for scheduled shifts punctually and in the appropriate uniform, adhering to company policies.
  • Comply with all safety and security protocols, reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions to management and completing necessary training.
  • Perform additional duties as required, including assisting other departments, preparing breakfast, and managing evening laundry tasks.
