Job Summary:
LHH is seeking a highly skilled Contract Attorney to join our team as a Trial Preparation Specialist. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to develop trial strategy and case management plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support trial preparation and litigation efforts.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, outside counsel, and clients to develop and implement trial strategy and case management plans.
- Manage and organize case documents, evidence, and exhibits to ensure efficient and effective trial preparation.
- Conduct pre-trial investigations, gather evidence, and interview key witnesses to support trial readiness.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or equivalent and active membership in the California State Bar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation and trial preparation.
- Strong understanding of civil procedure, evidence rules, and trial advocacy techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
