Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Sonographer to join our team at USA Clinics Group. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities and other studies as needed, while maintaining efficient workflow and providing excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound examinations to create Venous Flow Maps for treatment plan recommendations.
  • Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients and addressing their specific needs.
  • Set up and clean procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
  • Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by treatment plans to ensure effectiveness and safety.
  • Adhere to standard time allotments for each type of ultrasound exam to maintain efficient patient flow.
  • Collaborate with office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review ultrasound schedules and ensure availability of technicians for timely patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain quality of work and skills through continued education and interaction with other Ultrasound Technologists.
  • Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory to ensure continued operations.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS).
  • Cultural sensitivity and excellent patient care skills.
  • Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
