Responsibilities:


Under the general supervision of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), you will assist by preparing for procedures or monitoring physiological and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures conducted in the cardiovascular laboratory.

Ensure that the procedure room is properly equipped for the tasks at hand. Monitor the inventory levels of all instruments and supplies. Engage in departmental meetings and performance enhancement initiatives, as well as the training of new personnel. Assist in all facets of invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • ARRT-R certification and state licensure or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required.
  • Prior experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory is preferred.
  • Completion of a Cardiovascular Technologist training program with a focus on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred.
  • BCLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Proficient computer skills are essential.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, encompassing estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, ranges from $50.00 to $75.00.

The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering a wide range of factors including skillset, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
