Package Delivery Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and accountable Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a company-provided delivery vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations.
Key Responsibilities- Safely Operate a Delivery Vehicle: Ensure the safe operation of a company-provided delivery vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations.
- Load and Unload Packages: Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle in a timely and efficient manner.
- Plan Efficient Routes: Plan and follow the most efficient route for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Verify Package Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of packages and ensure proper documentation for each delivery.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by being polite, professional, and accommodating during deliveries.
- Collaborate with Dispatch Team: Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
- Maintain Vehicle Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Report Vehicle Issues: Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or traffic violations to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to Company Policies: Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding delivery operations and safety protocols.
- Represent the Company: Represent the organization in a positive manner at all times, maintaining a professional image.
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or above.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Background Check: Must be able to clear pre-employment background and drug screening.
- Experience: Proven experience as a delivery driver.
- Knowledge of Traffic Laws: Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs physically and carry packages weighing up to 150 pounds using a dolly.
- Competitive Pay: Competitive pay of $20 hourly.
