Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Support Specialist to join our team in the National Capital Region.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions to support the development, deployment and sustainment of the Department of State's ICAM and ZTA capabilities.

About the Role
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure components across multiple cloud platforms.
  • Develop and maintain software deployment, testing, and monitoring in cloud environments.
  • Implement security measures to protect cloud resources, including network security, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost optimization and implement proactive measures to address issues and improve efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal groups.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a federal clearance
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum THREE (3) years of experience with using and supporting a broad range of cloud technologies
  • Integration experience and knowledge of both Microsoft Entra and Okta functionality, provisioning, and interface requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions in AWS, Azure, and Office 365.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, as well as cloud service models and deployment models.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash a plus
