About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating CT equipment, and producing high-quality diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate CT equipment, maintaining quality control procedures and adhering to ALARA principles.
  • Collaborate with physicians to perform procedures and enhance images.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques and perform intravenous injections as needed.
  • Review patient charts, gather clinical data, and schedule cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.
  • Protect patients and staff from injury and unnecessary radiation.
  • Differentiate anatomical abnormalities and notify radiologists.
  • Perform computer processing and imaging to ensure quality enhancement.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and arrange for transportation as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Training and experience in radiation safety and protection.
  • A minimum of six months CT Technologist experience is preferred.
  • Registered ARRT and current, valid NJ Licensure.
  • Advanced CT Certification through ARRT is preferred.
