As a Safety and Security Officer, your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Enhancing customer experience by greeting and assisting guests and team members at the entrance and throughout the store; guiding guests in locating products both in-store and online.
  • Fostering a culture of physical security by assessing and maintaining safety standards throughout the store and its surroundings.
  • Responding to security incidents and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Utilizing escalation tools to address guest concerns, ensuring a secure environment for all.
  • Conducting effective merchandise recoveries and providing support for apprehensions in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Preventing theft and inventory loss by performing receipt checks on high-value items.
  • Submitting necessary documentation for all incidents in compliance with company policies.
  • Understanding and effectively using the video surveillance system.
  • Training team members on merchandise protection strategies and auditing processes.
  • Instructing team members on operational strategies to minimize inventory loss as directed by leadership.
  • Implementing action plans to address inventory loss in designated areas.
  • Modeling safe work practices while maintaining a clean environment for guests and team members.
  • Delivering service and shopping experiences that cater to guest needs.
  • Promoting a culture of ethical behavior, safety, and compliance.
  • Working safely at all times, identifying and correcting hazards, and adhering to safety policies and best practices.
  • Performing additional duties as required by business needs.
