Job Description

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides primary care to patients under the supervision of the Supervising Physician in the clinic, following established standards and practices. This role is ideal for a motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: A Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field, with a successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program.
  • License/Certifications: A current license issued by the State of Maine as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, with SMHC supervising physician required. Current certification as NP/PA is also required. BLS certification is essential.
  • Experience: Three or more years of experience in a physician's office setting is preferred.
  • Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
