Electrical Engineering Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced faculty member to join our Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan Technological University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in electrical and computer engineering, as well as contributing to the department's research and service activities.

• Develop and teach courses in electrical and computer engineering
• Contribute to the department's research and service activities
• Participate in departmental and university committees
• Integrate safety practices into daily activities
• Commit to learning about continuous improvement strategies and applying them to everyday work and University and ABET Assessment activities
• Ability to learn and leverage new teaching technologies

• Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or closely related areas
• Experience in teaching and research in electrical and computer engineering
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, professionals, and the general public

• Postdoctoral research experience and training
• Industrial experience in electrical and computer engineering
• Interest and experience in areas such as computer engineering, reconfigurable computing, computer architecture, embedded systems, power electronics and energy conversion, robotics engineering, imaging and machine vision, signals and systems, electronics, and electrophysics
