Position Overview:
As a Senior Project Engineer specializing in Traction Power Design, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative engineering solutions. At HNTB, we pride ourselves on creating impactful careers while enhancing the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design initiatives, ensuring the production and refinement of engineering calculations, technical documentation, and project specifications.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to conduct thorough research and development, applying advanced engineering techniques to complex projects.
- Utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot design challenges, fostering effective communication with clients and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Develop both conceptual and detailed designs using state-of-the-art engineering tools and software.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing constructive feedback to enhance their professional growth.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 7 years, or a PhD with 6 years.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality work across multiple engineering disciplines.

Preferred Skills:
- 10 years of experience in Rail/Transit Traction Power Design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent.
