**Overview**

At Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, we're seeking a compassionate Hospice Spiritual Care Specialist to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll provide direct spiritual support and counsel to patients and their families, helping them navigate life-threatening illnesses and death.

About the Role:

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, to our Hospice Spiritual Care Specialist. Our benefits package includes generous time off, continuing education opportunities, a scholarship program, and comprehensive insurance plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct spiritual support and counseling to patients and their families
  • Work with staff, clergy, and community groups to enhance their sensitivity to the spiritual needs of patients and families
  • Consult and educate patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members on spiritual care
  • Provide bereavement follow-up services as defined by Hospice
  • Maintain proper records of visits to patients and families

Qualifications:

  • Must be an individual who, by ordination or by ecclesiastical endorsement from the individual's denomination, has been approved to function in a pastoral capacity
  • Demonstrated experience working with patients and families dealing with life-threatening illness and death
