Ambulance Runner Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Ambulance Runner to join our team at Acadian Ambulance Services, Inc. in Houma. As an Ambulance Runner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fleet maintenance team by delivering and picking up company vehicles, as well as performing various tasks to ensure our ambulances are equipped and ready for service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up company vehicles to assist with fleet maintenance and repairs.
  • Pick up and deliver vehicle parts and supplies.
  • Review equipment on ambulances and complete equipment checklists.
  • Stock ambulances with equipment, including stretchers, oxygen bottles, and other heavy items.
  • Wash and re-fuel company vehicles.
  • Assist with shop maintenance, including sweeping, trash disposal, and organizing supplies.
  • Work with supervisors and crew members to coordinate vehicle transfers.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Current Class-C driver's license.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $14.00.
