We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and respiratory therapy services to patients in a variety of healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Performs arterial blood gas punctures, administers pharmacological solutions, and monitors patient vital signs.
- Equipment Care: Assembles, disassembles, operates, and maintains respiratory equipment, troubleshoots issues, and performs minor repairs.
- Education and Administrative: Educates patients on therapy and medications, completes billing paperwork, and documents patient assessments and interventions.
- Compliance and Safety: Reports safety incidents, attends safety training programs, and ensures a safe work environment.
- Education: Associates Degree from an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program.
- Certification and Licensures: Licensed by the Arizona Board of Respiratory Care Examiners, National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
- Experience: One year of experience preferred.
