The available roles are situated within a public educational framework, engaging with learners from kindergarten through 12th grade.
In collaboration with school counselors, these professionals serve as advocates for the mental health and educational progress of students, providing essential support for their academic and personal growth.
The Educational Psychologist is responsible for overseeing the execution of psychological evaluations and actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborative problem-solving sessions aimed at developing systems, programs, and services that enhance students' social, emotional, and academic achievements.
Working alongside educators, families, students, and community members, the educational psychologist fosters positive learning environments.Required Certification:
Missouri School Psychological Examiner Certificate or School Psychologist Certificate
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and analyze findings for students, contributing to IEP meetings and team discussions.
- Assist in the development of programs that promote social skills, coping mechanisms, and problem-solving strategies within the classroom.
- Attend individual education planning and placement committee meetings as necessary to assist in identifying disabilities.
- Ensure the completion of psychological evaluations.
- Engage in school or program activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology.
- State-required psychologist license and/or certification.
- PDE Certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Strong understanding of learning processes, effective instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs, and the ability to evaluate their effectiveness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational, problem-solving, consultation, and collaboration abilities.

- PDE Certification in Missouri.
- State license in Missouri.
- Psychological Examiner Certificate or School Psychologist Certificate.
Physical Demands:
- Visual and auditory acuity are essential for delivering assessment, intervention, and consultation services.
- Occasional lifting of materials and equipment weighing less than 25 pounds.
- Ability to maintain emotional stability under pressure.
- Must be capable of responding appropriately to emergency situations in an educational setting.
- Must be able to operate in diverse environments, which may include exposure to allergens and other varying conditions.
- Potential exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
