Job Title: Mathematics Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Greene County Schools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching mathematics and a commitment to providing a high-quality education to our students.

Job Summary:

The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for teaching mathematics to students in grades 9-12. This includes developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing individualized support to students as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Provide individualized support to students as needed
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in education or other appropriate area of study from a GAPSC-approved program of study
  • Valid Georgia educator certificate in Secondary Math (Field 743)
